Pearson VUE

Pearson VUE provides through its authorized centers innovative electronic testing solutions that enhance the performance, reliablility and security of high-stakes testing programs throughout the world.

CSL is an authorized Pearson VUE Center
The “Chambre des salariés " (CSL) is an authorized Pearson VUE Center. Its training department, the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Center (LLLC) delivers professional licensing and information technology certification exams in Luxembourg. Online inscription  on Pearson VUE website.

  • All exams take place at CSL's IT Competence Center at 13 rue de Bragance, L-1255 Luxembourg.

The Information Technology (IT) certification programs include companies such as Adobe, Cisco Systems, Siemens Enterprise Communications and many others. (Click here for a complete list.) The growing list of certification tests accessible through the Pearson VUE system are supplied directly by "test clients", i.e. those companies themselves. Test results are quickly transmitted back and the candidate’s certification status is promptly updated.

 

European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)

Le certificat ECDL est orienté vers la pratique professionnelle et indique que son détenteur a passé avec succès un test théorique et six tests pratiques sur ordinateur. Un premier certificat, le ECDL Start, est délivré aux candidats qui ont réussi quatre tests.

Au Luxembourg, le ECDL est offert par le partenariat Chambre des salariés - Association Luxembourgeoise des Ingénieurs (ALI). Avec cette dernière la CSL a signé un accord de collaboration qui se concentre plus particulièrement sur des travaux d’adaptation des tests ECDL au contexte du marché du travail luxembourgeois tout en respectant les spécificités linguistiques luxembourgeoises. L’action du partenariat CSL - ALI est soutenue par le ministre du Travail et de l’Emploi, Monsieur François Biltgen, qui en a accepté le patronage.

A noter que la Chambre des salariés est un centre accrédité pour délivrer le ECDL à Luxembourg puisque l’offre de ses cours du soir en Informatique & Bureautique satisfait aux critères de qualité indispensables à ce certificat reconnu mondialement.
